Covid-19:
Get information on the development at System Cleaners

 

Following the Danish Prime Minister’s press conference Wednesday night 11 March stating an immediate shut-down of all public institutions and assemblies for the next 14 days, we want to give you an update of how the situation will and is affecting the daily business at System Cleaners.

17 March

Five days after the public shut-down of Denmark, System Cleaners is still running smoothly. Our sales department has split up and our Key Account Managers are currently working from home. But they are still very much reachable by phone, email or Skype/Teams.

In terms of the production, nothing is affecting our supply chain and we are in constant dialogue with our suppliers to monitor the situation.

Denmark closed its borders on Saturday 14 March in an attempt to mitigate the spread of the disease, and other European countries have done the same in the last couple of days.

This means that people are restricted in crossing borders, but supplies are still allowed to cross, and we have not experienced any cancellations of shipments.

Our shipping agents inform us that they do not expect cancellations, but we may encounter delays during this period.

With a radical rise in Covid-19 cases within the last few days, we all need to do our best to stop the disease from spreading too quickly. At System Cleaners we are aware of the severity of the situation, and we are taking the necessary precautions to protect our employees and their families while still ensuring business as usual.

At present we have taken the following steps:
 

  • All travelling and external, physical meetings have been cancelled and postponed for the time being
  • Meetings with external partners etc. will be held online on Microsoft Teams or similar
  • Anyone who has been travelling recently is working from home
  • Employees having health issues or with close family members having health issues are working from home
  • Recommendations for stricter hygiene apply
  • Internal meetings limited in quantity and number of participants

We are in contact with suppliers and shipping agents and we are constantly monitoring the situation, but for now everything is on track, and there are no disruptions in our production or shipping of goods.

Our Management Team is meeting twice a day to follow up on the situation. To keep you, our partners, up to date on the situation at System Cleaners, we have created this page so you will be able to get information about the current situation as it evolves.

We hope that by taking these precautions, we can contribute to slowing down the spread of Covid-19.
