Doorway Sanitizer DWS

Avoiding contamination in the food or beverage processing plant is vital in maintaining a high level of food safety and hygiene

Contamination can occur if the product gets in contact with insufficiently cleaned surfaces or processing equipment, but also if the people handling the products are contaminated.

Our Doorway Sanitizer DWS is designed to reduce or eliminate microbial contamination of food processing areas stemming from soiled footwear and mobile equipment that may be carrying micro-organisms. It can be applied at entryways into the processing areas or in passageways between areas to prevent cross-contamination.

The layer of foam applied by the DWS acts as a barrier to microbes, and the foam will cling to footwear or wheels passing through effectively sanitizing these.

DWS is connected to two nozzles or to a manifold. It has two integrated timers as standard: One controls the duration of the foam application. The other sets the interval between the applications. Activation by photocell is available as option. 

It requires connection to mains water supply (3-8 bar) or to a boosted water supply of 10-25 bar from a System Cleaners main station, pump station or booster station as well as compressed air.
