To make a good foam you need

  • Enough air at the right pressure
  • The correct detergent at the right concentration
  • Enough, but not too, much water
  • A hose in the correct length

What influences the foam in different systems?

 

Manual system based on injectors DECENTRAL:

Foam quality depends on:

  • Injector: pressure/vacuum

  • Accessories: hose length, foam nozzle, gun/valve and hose reel

  • Settings: concentration and air pressure

  • Foam product*

 

Automatic systems DECENTRAL:

Foam quality depends on:

  • Injector: pressure/ vacuum

  • Flow in injector: injector size and water nozzle

  • Settings: concentration and air pressure

  • Foamproduct*

  • Size and length of piping

  • Nozzle size in nozzlebars (total volume in relation to injector size)

 

Manual system based on pre-diluted product CENTRAL:

Foam quality depends on:

  • Pressure of diluted product (6-12 bar)

  • Foamproduct*

  • Settings: air pressure and volume of pre-diluted product

  • Accessories: foam nozzle, hose length, gun/valve and hose reel

 

Automatic systems CENTRAL:

Foam quality depends on:

  • The concentration of the pre-diluted chemicals

  • Amount of air

  • Amount of pre-diluted chemicals

  • Foamproduct*

  • Pressure available

  • Size and length of piping

  • Nozzle size in nozzlebars (total volume in relation to injector size)

 

* Chlor-alkalineproducts have different additives(tensides), which does not foam as good as non-chlor products.
